Renowned South African actor Sello Motloung, celebrated for his roles in Nna Sajene Kokobela, The Republic, and The Estate,  will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 21. His funeral service is scheduled to take place at St Huberts Catholic Church in Alexandra, with his burial to follow at West Park Cemetery, according to IOL.

Motloung’s sudden passing on Sunday, September 15, shocked the nation. Reports indicate that the actor collapsed and later died in hospital. The news of his death was confirmed by his casting agency, Artist Connection, in a heartfelt statement. “We are devastated to inform you of the sudden passing of Ntate Sello Motloung on Sunday 15 September. His family is in shock and we ask that you give them space at this time. Sello will forever be remembered as one of our legends and we will miss him tremendously.”

As the South African entertainment industry mourns the loss of one of its legends, Sello Motloung’s legacy will continue to live on through his unforgettable performances and the impact he made on audiences across the country.
