Veteran actor Sello Maake kaNcube has had enough of his rocky relationship with wife Pearl Mbewe and has decided to take legal action against her.
According to ZiMoja, the couple’s on-and-off relationship hit another rough patch when Mbewe, a public relations specialist, accused Maake kaNcube of assault. She also allegedly claimed that he gave her a chronic disease.
Responding to the allegations, Maake kaNcube denied them outright. Speaking to ZiMoja, he said, “I firmly deny the allegations. It appears that this is a coordinated effort to create unfounded claims against me.” He added, “I will not stoop low and engage in this mud-slinging. I am consulting with my legal team regarding these matters.”
The The Suit actor revealed that he was questioned by police after Mbewe opened an assault case against him. However, he filed a countercharge against her during the same visit. While Mbewe reportedly hoped he would be arrested, no charges were pressed against him.
