Selby “Selbeyonce” Mkhize is leaving Ukhozi FM after 12 years of great work. Her last show will air on 18 June 2025.
Ukhozi FM shared the news with mixed feelings. They said Selby has been a special part of their family since 2012. Now, she is stepping down to explore new career opportunities.

— Kgopolo (@PhilMphela) June 17, 2025Selby started at Ukhozi FM in 2012 as a guest on the popular Umnyakazo Top20 show. She showed her love and talent for radio there for two years. In 2014, she got a contract to host the Woza Nabangani Bakho afternoon drive show every Monday and Friday. Because of her hard work and great presence, the station made her a full-time presenter in 2015.
Over the years, Selby has been a lively and strong voice on the station. She has won many awards and proudly represented Ukhozi FM. Her energy and spirit have left a lasting impression on both the station and its listeners.
