Seemah has publicly apologised to DJ Zinhle after her comments about Zinhle’s husband, Mörda, caused a major stir online. The apology came during the latest episode of the Spreading Humours podcast, where the award-winning content creator opened up about her difficult year and admitted she had crossed the line with her remarks.
Speaking honestly about her struggles, Seemah said, “I don’t have any words for this year. I’ve had a kak year. From people bashing me, even now they’re still bashing me.”
She added that she felt emotionally drained, saying, “I think my 2025 ended on Wednesday. I’m done with this year. I feel like deleting it from my mind.”
Seemah then shifted her attention to the controversy, offering a heartfelt apology to DJ Zinhle. She said, “I would like to apologise to Zinhle for calling her man a dog. I respect that woman so much and I look up to her so much. She’s a dope DJ. She would support her business, I support hers.”
Explaining her frustration at the time, she continued, “I was coming from a girls girls perspective because I was pissed off. It was wrong of me to call him a dog. I apologise to Mörda as well. I’m sorry for calling you a dog. Honestly, I think you’re a decent guy.”
Seemah emphasised that her intentions were not to hurt DJ Zinhle, saying, “I just actually wanted to apologise to Zinhle, that’s the one person I would never deliberately hurt. I would never say bad things about her. I didn’t do it with malicious intent. I’m sorry man.”
The drama began a few days earlier on the Spreading Humours podcast, where Seemah, alongside co-hosts Yanda Woods and Zille, discussed viral allegations shared by blogger Musa Khawula. He claimed that Bongani Mohosana, known as Mörda or Mörda Bongz, was allegedly cheating on DJ Zinhle.
During the discussion, emotions ran high, and Seemah said, “Men will embarrass you. Men are terrible. He seems like such a decent guy. I’m so upset. You’d look at him and think Zinhle won here kanti yinja (but he’s a dog).”
DJ Zinhle responded in a TikTok video, revealing how deeply the comment affected her. She said, “Yoh, I’m so exhausted… But let me tell you, nothing hit harder than someone calling my husband inja (a dog). I don’t know if I’m going to recover from that one.”
After seeing Zinhle’s reaction, Seemah reached out again, writing under the video, “Molo sis wam. Please do check your DMs on IG… I was angry, yes, but I should’ve still been respectful about it. Xolo sis wam.”
With her latest public apology, Seemah hopes to bring an end to the fallout and make amends with DJ Zinhle and Mörda.
