Luxury influencer Sarah Langa often lands on most best dressed lists but her look at the ‘Real Housewives of Lagos’ premier in Joburg Thursday night has critics putting her on worst dressed list.
The beauty showed up to the premier in what looks like a jumpsuit with a skirt on top, bedazzled with an accessory around her chin, a cap and sunglasses all in white. Social media across the continent had high expectations for the pink carpet following the Lagos launch of the reality show where everyone invited was a showstopper. Sarah’s look was one of many outfits from our local celebs that failed to impress black twitter.
Sarah did not let it slide as she hit back defending her look. “I completely get why is not easy to get it. Individuality and intellectualizing beauty is uncomfortable,” Sarah responded to her critics. Sarah was not the only one in love with her red carpet look made by Rich Mnisi. DJ Zinhle gave a stamp of her approval of Sarah’s outfit when she tweeted a photo of the influencer on the pink carpet with a heart eye emoji.
Bonnie Mbuli also came to Sarah’s defense tweeting, “Thing is ..ya’ll are selective about WHO you allow to express themselves fully, if Rihanna had worn what Sarah Langa wore on the red carpet ,u’d be saying she ATE, you’re really just following the followers …your opinions and thoughts are fully controlled by “the man “!”
