The South African Hip Hop industry has been quite the interesting one this year.
With Cassper and AKA’s beef still going, Ntsiki Mazwai calling the Hip Hop industry a joke and VUZU hosting ‘The Hustle’ and giving the new kids on the block a chance, it’s safe to say that everyone has received their 15 minutes of fame.
We have a number of platforms that recognise Hip Hop and pay tribute to the work that our artists put in on a daily basis but the biggest recognition has to be that of being crowned MTV’s Hottest Hip Hop Emcee of the year.
Last night the SA Hip Hop Awards took place and well let’s just say we never thought we’d see the day where AKA and Cassper share an award.
