Businesswoman and model Kefilwe Mabote rang in the new year on a somber not she revealed the news of the sudden death of her mother Matlhodi Dorothy Mabote. The details surrounding the cause of her death have been kept private but judging from the loads of memories Mabote shared, they were the closest of friends.

Anga Makhubalo also known as Naakmusiq shared that he lost his grandmother during the festive holidays but he is happy that she witnessed him become a star before her passing.
Zikhona Sodlaka
Actress and mother to be Zikhona Sodlaka shared the sad news of the passing of her father. Sodlaka posted a tribute to her dad and a heartfelt message expressing the hurt that she and her family are going through.
Masasa Mbangeni
Masasa has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 like many others and has lost more than just one loved one due to the virus which include her friend and her brother.

Zinhle didn’t reveal much about the relation of the deceased however she did mention that it was a loved one and they also died because of the COVID-19 outbreak. She further cautioned her followers to protect themselves and the people they love.
