Model and media personality Rosette Ncwana is making her much-anticipated return to reality TV with the third season of The Mommy Club, set to premiere on 15 February 2025. The 32-year-old mom of two girls, who previously graced TV screens during the second season of Young, Famous and African, is now bringing her real-life experiences to a new platform. She joins an exciting lineup of stars including Happy ‘Hermajesty’ Simelane, Mpumi ‘Mrs Mops’ Mophatlane, Nozipho Ntshangase, Jabulile Sande, and newcomers Mrs J, Noksie Khumalo, Pheladi, and Vuyi.

Talking to TRUELOVE, Rosette shared the reasons that drew her back to reality TV, especially for a show like The Mommy Club. “What drew me to The Mommy Club was the opportunity to share a different side of myself. As someone who is often in the spotlight, it’s easy for people to see only one dimension of who I am. I wanted to be part of something real and authentic, something that truly connects with people,” she explains.

As a mother herself, Rosette saw the value in connecting with other women who are going through similar journeys. “As a mother, I love the idea of connecting with other women who are navigating similar experiences. Having been on reality TV before, I knew this would be an exciting chance,” she says.

While filming the show, Rosette formed strong bonds with some of the other moms, particularly Noksie Khumalo and Mrs J. “I gravitated the most towards Noksie and Mrs J because they’re real with me and aren’t trying to be something they’re not. I respect moms who are open about their struggles, especially when it comes to the tough moments. It felt natural to connect with them,” she shares.

Opening up more about her home life and personal journey, Rosette feels that her experience on the show has reaffirmed her strength during challenging times while also embracing her vulnerability. “I bring a mix of elegance, strength and realness to the show,” she describes.

Through her journey on The Mommy Club, Rosette hopes to inspire viewers by showing that everyone has their flaws. “We all face challenges and it’s important to handle them in your own way, without trying to live up to anyone else’s expectations. I want people to feel empowered to be themselves, stand up for what’s right and still be kind. It’s about showing up for yourself and your loved ones, even on the tough days,” she says.

As the name of the show suggests, mothering is at the heart of it, and Rosette’s parenting style reflects that. “I believe in setting boundaries and instilling good values, but I also make sure my children feel loved, supported, and heard. My inspiration comes from my own upbringing, as well as my desire to raise confident, kind, and independent children,” she says.
