Robert Marawa Reveals Why He Didn’t Join TouchHD! When the broadcaster left Metro FM back in 2017, Tbo Touch tried to get him to join his online station but was no successful.
A year later, Marawa has returned to Metro FM and spilling the tea on why he turned down Tbo Touch’s offer. The radio heavyweights even went for lunch to discuss a deal.
“I still have a copy of Touch’s contract at home. I took him out to lunch and I said to him, ‘the kind of people I’m trying to reach out to would be a waste on your platform’,” Marawa recently told Drum Magazine.
The 45 year old reportedly also turned down Power FM around the same time.
