RHOD Star Minnie Ntuli Skips Reunion, Plans Her Own Tell-All After Backlash

Real Housewives of Durban Season 5 newcomer and radio presenter Minnie Ntuli has shocked fans by announcing that she will not be attending the official reunion of the show. Instead, Minnie revealed on Instagram that she will be doing her own version of a reunion—an “un-reunion” where she will speak openly about her experiences on the show.

“I’ve decided to share my story from RHOD Season 5 in a different way – an ‘Un-reunion’ of sorts. It’s a chance for me to be authentic and honest about my experiences, with all the highs and lows,” Minnie wrote in her post. “I’ll be opening up about the things I would’ve shared at the reunion, and I hope you’ll find the answers you’ve been looking for. It’s not about grand gestures, but about genuine connection and sharing my truth.”

However, many fans on social media were not impressed with her decision. Some criticised her for avoiding the main reunion, especially since she had clashes during the season. Many believe Minnie should show up and address her issues with former cast member Londiwe “Londie London” Zulu face-to-face.

Viewers were especially upset about how Minnie treated Londie. Their drama started when Minnie questioned why Londie was being invited to events. The situation got worse when Londie joked about Minnie’s dress. Although Londie later apologised, the tension didn’t go away. Fans felt Minnie acted like a bully and pushed things too far.

As the season went on, Minnie was labelled the “villain” and “mean girl” of the show. The online backlash became so bad that she had to make all her social media accounts private. Her TikTok account was even reported and banned.

Minnie joined the show as a friend of fellow cast member Angel Ndlela, but things quickly turned sour. While some fans believe she’s trying to protect her peace by avoiding the reunion, others say she should face the heat and be held accountable.

The show’s production company, Let It Rain Films, hasn’t said whether Minnie will appear or not. They told City Press, “We know fans are excited for the reunion and we encourage everyone to watch and see how it all unfolds. All will be revealed in the episode.”
