Model and TV personality Refilwe Modiselle marked her 2025 birthday with a joyful family celebration that included her sisters, Bontle and Candice Modiselle, her mother, and her niece. The occasion, held on January 2nd, was full of laughter, love, and light-hearted fun. Refilwe even got her family involved in a popular TikTok challenge, with the birthday girl herself as the star.
Refilwe shared the special moment on Instagram, expressing how overwhelmed she was by her family’s love. She wrote, “I’m still taking it all in! All in all my sisters did a number on me with this birthday… shoooooo00000. Still in awe of how spoilt I am by my family. Grateful is an understatement. But for now enjoy… We just had to… & we can settle the score on who is which sister in which order lol….”
In her heartfelt post, Refilwe also joked about her future marriage, adding, “P.S to the honourable man that one day takes my hand in marriage, this is the tough yet incredible panel you’ll have to win over… Good luck to whoever that will be…”
The model reflected on her journey and shared a positive message for the year ahead: “An additional year of life +1 to the birthday candles. Thankful for resilience, life, light & divine grace. Being love personified. God grant me strength of peace of mind, heart, body, soul & spirit for all the things I still desire & pursue. My lifelong journey hasn’t been the easiest but I guess worth the fight.”
She also mentioned the fun moments captured on video with her family, saying, “P.S thanks to the people around me that capture my playfulness with the light-hearted moments caught in the videos lol… I’m sure it’s refreshing when my clown & inner child sometimes show up. I guess that’s why my niece thinks I’m her Popeye to play with & I love it.”
