The drama between two of South Africa’s reality TV stars has taken a serious turn as Nonku Williams from The Real Housewives of Durban faces a hefty R15 million lawsuit from Melany Viljoen of The Real Housewives of Pretoria and her husband, Peet Viljoen.

Nonku Williams, known for her bold and outspoken nature, has been stirring controversy by suggesting fraudulent activities at the Viljoens’ business, Tammy Taylor Nails, and implying that Melany might be in an abusive marriage. These allegations were made during the filming of #UltimateGirlsTripSA.

According to News24, Peet Viljoen is not taking these accusations lightly and has filed a defamation lawsuit against Williams. The Viljoens claim that Williams’ comments have severely damaged their reputation and business.

The lawsuit has sparked a heated debate on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), where users are divided on the issue. One user expressed skepticism about the lawsuit’s amount, saying, “Nonku wasn’t the only one who said it. This will likely be the last we see Mel on any show because I don’t see how anyone will ever wanna shoot anything with her after this.”

Another user speculated about Nonku’s intentions, suggesting, “Peet just wanted a quick buck. If that was not the case, he could have just asked Nonku for an apology. Maybe Nonku knows something.”

On the other hand, some defended the Viljoens’ decision to take legal action. “The other ladies spoke about the Tammy Taylor scandal, but Nonku went further and made reckless and very serious allegations of abuse, with what looks like zero evidence. It’s no laughing matter,” one tweet read.

As the legal battle unfolds, the tension between the two reality TV stars continues to captivate fans and fuel discussions across social media platforms.

Peet Viljoen reportedly is suing Nonku Williams for R15 million for comments Nonku made on #UltimateGirlsTripSA about Peet potentially being an abuser to Mel Viljoen.

Problem; Nonku wasn’t the only one who said it. Secondly, this will likely be the last we see Mel on any show… pic.twitter.com/5IznhTEd4F
