Lesotho-born rapper Malome Vector, whose real name is Bokang Moleli, has tragically died in a car accident on Thursday. The accident, which occurred on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off, resulted in a collision between Vector’s vehicle and a truck, resulting in his death.
Malome Vector is survived by his wife, daughter, parents, and four siblings. A statement released by Berry Matseletsele on behalf of his family confirmed the devastating news. “It is with immeasurable grief that we, Moleli’s family, confirm the passing of our son Bokang Moleli aka Malome Vector on the 24th of July 2024. Malome Vector was involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident on his way to Lesotho which took his life immediately.”
The statement continues, “A true and loving son indeed. He lived all his life in the entertainment industry and brought to us the music that we have come to love so much. His friends and fans will remember him by his limitless love and selflessness. We appreciate all condolences and love that is pouring from all ends of the world. However, due to the burden of this matter, we kindly request you to give the family the time it needs to mourn.”
