Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, took to Instagram on Saturday, November 18, to share the exciting news of their return to their Parisian abode. The Kolisi family, comprising Siya, Rachel, and their two children, Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6). Embarked on a journey that took them from Paris to Cape Town. Then to Miami, and finally to New York over the past few weeks.

In her Instagram Story, Rachel humorously expressed her exhaustion. Confessing to officially crashing at 12 pm while clad in Siya’s pajamas. The post encapsulated the whirlwind adventure they’ve experienced, culminating in their return to Paris. Rachel quipped, “Now I just need to sleep for 16 days and find some sort of ‘normal.’ Wildest four months ever.”

However, this move to Paris in August marked a significant chapter for the Kolisi family. Initiated by Siya’s decision to join Racing 92 after the Rugby World Cup. Having led the South African national team to victory against the All Blacks in the final. Siya solidified his legacy as a double Rugby World Cup champion.

Additionally, in a statement reported by The Kolisi Foundation, Siya expressed gratitude for his family’s unwavering support throughout his career. The move to Racing 92 wasn’t just a professional decision; it was a strategic choice to prioritize family time. Siya acknowledged the sacrifices Rachel and the children had made. Emphasizing that this move would afford him the cherished opportunity to spend more quality time with them.

In summary, the Kolisi family’s international journey reflects not only the demands of Siya’s illustrious rugby career but also the commitment to maintaining a strong family bond. Further, as they settle back into their life in Paris, it marks the continuation of a unique adventure for the Kolisis. A journey that intertwines sports, family, and the pursuit of a new ‘normal’ in the City of Lights.
