Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, has been openly sharing her path to healing since announcing their divorce in late 2024. In a recent interview on HeartFM, Rachel spoke candidly about her journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and embracing life’s uncertainties.
“I’m growing into something and I don’t know what. Every season in life, whether it is a really amazing one or a really hard one, I think it grows you into who you’re meant to be,” Rachel shared. At 35, she reflected on how her life experiences—from childhood to adulthood—have shaped the person she is today.
Rachel, who has become more focused on intentional living, is committed to making choices that prioritise her well-being and the well-being of her family. “I am more intentional than ever of making sure I am making healthy and good decisions for myself and for my family because I want to land up being the best version I possibly can be,” she said.
Earlier this year, Rachel shared an intimate glimpse into her healing process with a video that captured moments of solitude and self-reflection. The footage included scenes of Rachel spending time alone in nature, gazing at mountains, shedding tears, working out at the gym, and traveling. The video resonated with many, as she shared a powerful message: “Healing looks different for everyone. Trust the process. One day at a time.”
