Pics! Khanyi And Lasizwe Remember Their Father On The One Year Anniversary Of His Passing. Losing a loved one is a very thing to experience especially when you lose both. Celebrity siblings Khanyi Mbau and Lasizwe had to say goodbye to their father Menzi Mcunu who passed away last year. Now that a year has gone by, the siblings took to social media to pay tribute to their dearly departed father.
Taking to Instagram, Khanyi Mbau penned a heartfelt message sharing that although it’s been a year since his passing, the actress claims that the reality is still hard to accept and she thinks that she never will. She also shared just how much they miss his presence and she hopes he remains well until they meet again.
“Dear Dad…It’s been 365 days and you have been gone. It still hasn’t sunk in, it will not sink in. we miss you in this realm , may the All knowing treat you well. Till our spirits cross paths again remember me” she wrote.
Lasizwe also remembered his father on the anniversary of his passing with a lengthy message and a happy father and son video. The YouTuber shared his pain of being an orphan on the platform since his father passed on. Dambuza shared how the reality of the post has made him very emotional as living each day with no parents has been very painful to do.
Lasizwe has been making awesome career moves this year alone and he wishes that his parents were still around to witness his success and give him a pat on the back.
“FUCK, THIS IS PAINFUL!!! Today marks one year of your passing, One year of being an orphan and One year of constant pain of not having parents. I’m in tears typing this message as it is so painful living day to day without having parents… My biggest wish to hear my parents say “congratulations Thulasizwe, My child” he wrote.
This is not the first time that Khanyi and Lasizwe have opened up about losing their father as Mbau previously revealed how she never imagined burying her father. Lasizwe also broke the hearts of many when he shared his pain of his last parent who was alive, not being around anymore.
