Pics! Inside Terry Pheto’s Multimillion Rand Bryanston House Set To Be Auctioned. The ‘Tsotsi’ actress and American soapie ‘Bold And The Beautiful’ actress has had her house taken away by authorities.
In 2022, Terry Pheto was fingered as one of the few individuals who were allegedly involved in National Lotteries Commission(NLC) corruption scheme, which saw some of them buying luxurious houses in affluent neighbourhoods. It is reported that Terry bought land in which she built her own house in Bryanston.
Since the news broke out of her being one of the suspect in the NLC corruption scandal, Pheto has since maintained her innocence.
“I am dismayed to discover that I am the subject of a SIU probe into allegations relating to funding by the NLC. I deny any involvement into the alleged scheme that has been reported on. I also had no prior knowledge of an application to obtain a preservation order against me and have had no sight of this order,” Pheto said in denial of the corruption scandal.
The Special Investigating Unit has now seized her home and was set to be auctioned on Thursday, 2 March to potential buyers with bidding starting from R3 million to R6 million. News 24 reported that the house failed to get a buyer.
