Pic! Mona Monyane Remembers Her Late Daughter Four Years After Her Passing. The loss of a loved one is one of the most painful things that anyone could ever experience no matter how long ago they may have passed. They say parents are not supposed to bury their children but sadly, that is just something that occurs more than it should.

Actress Mona Monyane gave birth to a baby girl four years ago who soon passed away a few days later. The actress took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late daughter, Amani-Amaza Wamazulu Skenjana who was born on the 16th of November 2017 and sadly passed away a few days later. Amani is Mona’s second born and even though she is gone, she will never be forgetting.

The talented actress penned a heartfelt note in memory of her daughter sharing how at first she didn’t understand the meaning behind her passing however, she is now at a better place. Baby Amani’s passing came with a lot of reflecting for her as a mother but the one thing that remains constant is her undying love for Amani even though she is not with us on earth.

“Happy Ascension day my baby ❤️?????? At first I did not understand…4 years later… I AM well. Thank you for giving me the strength you did. The awakening you did. The self-love you did. Thank you for healing me in the midst of all that pain. Thank you for being a part of me, eternally. I will continue to be the best version of me for the whole world to see Because of you. I love you forever my sweet. Amani ya juu??????❤️ 16-11-2017 to 23-11-2017” she wrote.

Friends and followers commented on the post with messages of comfort to Mona and her family, wishing them all the strength.

A few months ago, media personality and musician Ntombi Mzolo, also lost her toddler daughter Linile after a tragic car accident. Other celebrities who have also publicly mourned the loss of their children include Nhlanhla Nciza, Zoleka Mandela, Florence Masebe and more.
