Many of our local celebs have opened up about the death of a parent and sometimes it’s a matter of having lost Bothe parents but they have shown us that life is a gift and with that gift comes time which is allegedly the healer of all wounds.
We think it is impossible to get over the death of a mother or father but what keeps one going is the cherished memories that are left with those who are still on earth to carry on the legacy left behind. Taking to social media, presenter and TV personality K Naomi opened up about the day that she lost her mother 9 years ago and also to celebrate the anniversary of her death.
Posting a throwback photo of her mother and herself on Instagram , K Naomi revealed that she lost her mother on April 25th exactly nine years ago, which why she recently paid tribute to her late mother and penned a heartfelt message celebrating the spirit that she was. The proud daughter thanked her mother for teaching her valuable lessons and for being the guiding spirit that she need from the heavens.
“RIP My Queen??Thank you for giving me life and showing me what real love is. The thought of knowing you aren’t here breaks my heart each time but I’m grateful that God chose me to be your daughter and you to be my mother. You are definitely my Angel above and although you aren’t here physically, I know you are spiritually…guiding and protecting me. Lol this pic is a perfect depiction of our relationship. I would not let you go anywhere without me, even whilst growing up (I was a mommys girl and I still am). I remember this day (9yrs ago) so vividly and how painful it was…But I choose to celebrate you today and I thank God everyday for your presence in my life, our memories and everything I was able to learn from you even though the time felt too short.

The channel O presenter opened up about the two days that her mother spent in hospital suffering from a lung illness. She shared that she had never seen her mother suffer so much in her entire life which was the hardest thing for her too see. Just when the doctors thought she she was getting better, her condition further declined and lead to her untimely death.
Even though her mother is not her with her, we can tell that she left K Naomi with all the proper tools to navigate her way through life and become a hardworking young lady.
