Veteran actress and author Florence Masebe is beaming with pride at her daughter Monthati’s latest educational milestone. Taking to social media, the actress revealed the amazing news of her daughter’s graduation, and also celebrated her daughter’s daily achievements as well.
Clearly the arts is something that runs in the veins of the Masebe family as Monthati completed her qualification in Bachelor Of Music from Wits University (University of Witwaterstrand). Florence gave her daughter a big congratulations on her achievement and thanked her for being a blessing in her life.

This is especially heartwarming for the Venda born actress who lost her 18 month old son in 2015 after a tragic drowning accident on her birthday. Although she sometimes commemorates her son’s life on social media, Florence has opened up about how his death has left a huge void in her heart, hoping that she will heal as the years go by.
“Thank you for the birthday messages. Hopefully as the years go on we will reach a place where no one says happy birthday to me. I prefer it this way. It’s a sacred day. It stopped being a happy birthday in 2015. Thank you for the love” she wrote.
