Pearl Modiadie, TV presenter and actress, kicked off her year in a big way by participating in Deal or No Deal Celebrity SA, where she won R250,000 for her chosen charity, Tshepang Care Centre. The win was more than just a game for Modiadie—it was a deeply personal and faith-driven moment.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared her excitement and gratitude, saying, “I can’t think of a better start to the year than taking a chance for a great cause. We did it guys! Winning R250,000 for my chosen charity, Tshepang Care Centre on Deal or No Deal was more than just a game—it was a deeply personal and faith-driven moment.”

Modiadie went on to reflect on the significance of the experience, adding, “This win is a reminder that when we trust in something greater than ourselves, listen to our inner voice, and take bold steps forward, amazing things can happen. I’m beyond grateful to have played a part in something that will make a lasting difference!”

She thanked her fans for their support, noting how they believed in her success even before the show aired: “Thanks to you, my online community for having faith that I’d walk away with the quarter of a million jackpot before you even watched the show. Your support means the world to me!”

Modiadie also expressed appreciation for the show’s host, Katlego Maboe, and the opportunity to make a difference: “Thank you @katlegomaboe for being such a great host and playing your part for the greater good. Thanks Deal or No Deal Celebrity and Lotto Star for the opportunity to make a difference.”

Finally, she shared a personal connection to the number 18, saying, “Here’s to special number 18, the day my son was born and changed my life.”

Her followers flooded the post with congratulatory messages. TV presenter Ntombee Ngcobo commented, “Well done, sisi. This was beautiful to watch. We serve a living God.” TV personality K Naomi wrote, “This is beautiful Pearl! Well done on the win but above everything, your beautiful heart.” And TV presenter Kayise Ngqula added, “You did incredibly well.”.
