OUTsurance Speaks Out On Katlego Maboe Concerns After Pulling His Adverts Off Air. Since Katlego Maboe’s cheating and domestic abuse scandal shook the whole of Mzansi, OUTsurance announced that they will be distancing themselves from Katlego and pulling his adverts off air.
The masses have since been fighting to get Maboe back in the game with a petition for his return that has received over 50 000 signatures to date. The big time insurance company has since broken their silence on the matter and it seems like their decision will have no affect on Katlego in terms of his finances.
In a statement by OUTsurance , it’s been revealed that he had received full compensation for the campaigns in which he has featured.
Speaking to TshisaLive, OUTsurance head of client relations Natasha Kawulesar provided a statement claiming that the insurance company decided to pull Katlego’s adverts to allow Maboe to get his family affairs in order.
Natasha added that it was also important to note that Katlego was not an OUTsurance employee or a permanent contractor to OUTsurance.
“He is a professional actor who is paid on a campaign by campaign basis. Katlego has received his full compensation from OUTsurance for all past as well as the current campaign in which he was featured. This includes performance as well as full usage fees for the entire campaign” Kawulesar said.
