South African TikToker Onezwa Mbola, known for her captivating and serene culinary videos, has found a new way to engage her followers. With her talent for making food from scratch, Onezwa has partnered with National Geographic to promote the latest season of the popular series, Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted.

Onezwa, who has built a dedicated following with her meticulous approach to cooking—from fishing and harvesting to developing recipes—recently took to Instagram to share her excitement about the show. In her post she wrote, “Let’s go on a culinary adventure with Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted S4.  So far, we’ve experienced Cuba’s rich history, hearty food, and picturesque scenery. And that inspired me too… Catch the rest of the season on @natgeo_africa every Wednesday at 21:00. What food do you most associate with Cuban cuisine?”

In a snippet video accompanying the post, Onezwa dives deeper into the essence of the show. She highlights how Ramsay explores food stories from some of the most remote corners of the world. “Being based in a remote location myself, it is exciting to see how cultures on the show co-exist with the Earth,” Onezwa remarks as she prepares a traditional Cuban dish of black beans with rice and a whole fish poached in tomato stew. Her dish not only celebrates Cuba’s rich culinary history but also mirrors the themes of the show, which emphasises the connection between food, culture, and the environment.
