Ntsiki Mazwai Speaks Up After DJ Fresh’s Revelation About Her Loss In Their Court Case. Controversial poet and activist, Ntsiki Mazwai took to her twitter account to air out some things about the court case between herself and DJ Fresh. In a series of tweets she shared her side of the story.
Recently, DJ Fresh, real name Thato Sikwane was on MacG’s podcast where he spoke about a variety of things, Ntsiki being a topic of discussion. Mazwai had been in a rollercoaster ride court battle after she refused to apologize for republishing a list of abusive men on twitter. The DJ then took the matter to court in which the court ruled in his favour.
The court reportedly ordered Ntsiki to pay DJ Fresh’s legal fees amounting to R200 000. However, it does seem like the DJ kind of reopened some old wounds and added salt on them with his remarks made on the podcast that aired Monday afternoon. Fresh didn’t have only negative remarks about his nemesis, he mentioned how contrary to popular belief, he’s a fan of Ntsiki. “I am actually one of Ntsiki Mazwai’s biggest fans, just in terms of I love her mind and I love where her head is at…”, said DJ Fresh.
In a series of tweets Ntsiki Mazwai went on a tirade in which she had some things to get off her chest. “What I know for a fact is that im not a liar…….I know I expose uncomfortable truths….but a liar???? Lol I cant even lie with make up and false illusions of beauty…so to expect to me have lied about such a big thing is really very fascinating for me. Is it denial?,” she tweeted.
“For the record…I have never been sued for a lie. I have been sued for publishing a list that was already online….which is what makes my case so damn interesting. That I got sued for what YOU were saying. Lol,” she added.
