Ntombee Ngcobo Mzolo Opens Up About About Her Daughter Experiencing Abuse. The radio and television personality went on a long rant to lash out at her daughter’s haters, who has been subjected to verbal abuse.
Taking to her Instagram, Ngcobo-Mzolo said she wishes people could at least acknowledge her daughter, Nomvelo Mzolo’s tenacity and willingness to participate in a beauty pageant. Her daughter has been putting in the work to advance to the ‘Miss Pre Teen’ pageant. She went on to lambast some naysayers who have been attributing Nomvelo’s progress to her family’s affinity with celebrities.
“Stop acting like she’s getting votes because of her family. We are campaigning literally DMing people asking for votes and running charity and fundraising events/ campaigns while you and your children sleep and do nothing. Then you have the guts to go on social media and complain about the support Nomvelo is getting,” she wrote.
She further went on to express to parents that teaching their kids hate and being the one who pushes and support that kind of behaviour was quite unfortunate. She takes pride in being a supportive mother who is hellbent on making sure that Nomvelo is a source of inspiration to others.
“Stop teaching your children to hate my child for nothing. If anything, they should be inspired by her strength. this gorgeous queen has lost 2 siblings but remains positive, kind, loving and very helpful. she also deserves good thing bathong. niyathakatha nina!” she added.
Ngcobo-Mzolo added how she and her siblings also suffered the same kind of abuse as they were subjected to some horrible statements. And as a result they had to prove people wrong. She said she wasn’t going to let history repeat itself by letting her daughter go through such treatment.
“My siblings and I suffered this same nonsense. But we thank God that it pushed us to work 10x harder but I won’t allow you to put our children through the same, using our status,” Mzolo said.
