Ntando Duma is no stranger to the spotlight, but this time, she’s basking in a new kind of glory. The multi-talented actress, presenter, and now director has just received a prestigious nomination at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs). Her self-produced and directed music video for the song “HAMBA Juba” has been nominated in the coveted “Music Video of the Year” category.

Expressing her gratitude on social media, Ntando shared her excitement with her followers. “What an incredible time to be a multifaceted queen, blessed with the opportunity to pour my heart and soul into a project that showcases my creativity and thoughts,” she wrote. The heartfelt post was a reflection of her passion and dedication to her craft.

For Ntando, this nomination is more than just recognition—it’s the culmination of a journey filled with hard work, creativity, and unwavering belief in herself. “Imagine your work being nominated for a SAMA award? Haibo nina! HAMBA Juba, a music video that I produced and directed is nominated under ‘Music Video of the Year’ category at this year’s SAMAs! God is sooo good!” she exclaimed.

Ntando also took a moment to thank those who supported her along the way, particularly Lady Amar, the artist behind “HAMBA Juba.” She acknowledged the team’s trust in her vision and celebrated their joint success. “Thank you for entrusting me with this platform and for celebrating my creativity. Congratulations to YOU TOO for these BIG NOMINATIONS—’Record of the Year’ and ‘Music Video of the Year’ award!”

In addition to her excitement about the nomination, Ntando shared a snippet video showcasing other music videos she has produced and directed, including tracks for Thulasizwe and Uzolala. These projects highlight her versatility and growing reputation in the music industry.
