Real Housewives of Durban star Nonku Williams has revealed that she’s taking a break from her dramatic dating life and focusing on her relationship with Jesus Christ. In a teaser for season 5 of the reality show, Nonku shared that she is embracing her single life and is not dating anyone, as she prioritises her spiritual journey.

“I’m very much single. In fact, I’m not single. Let me rephrase that, I’m married. I’m married to Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour,” she said, highlighting her commitment to her faith.

Nonku’s dating history has been well-documented and often controversial. In Real Housewives of Durban season 3 she was engaged to Dumisani “RD” Ndlanzi. The engagement ended dramatically, with both accusing each other of fraud. Nonku also had a child with the late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane.

Despite her past relationships, Nonku emphasized that she has found forgiveness and is embracing a fresh start. “God is a God of second chances. I mean, I’ve messed up in the past. But you know what, God always has His arms open,” she said in the season 5 teaser.

As Real Housewives of Durban returns for its fifth season, four housewives are making a comeback: Nonku, Sorisha Naidoo, Angel Ndlela, and Jojo Robinson. However, fans will see some changes, as Slee Ndlovu, Maria Valaskatzis, Zama Ngcobo, and Ameigh Thompson are not returning. The new housewives have yet to be revealed.

Sam Kelly, executive producer at Let It Rain Films, teased an exciting season ahead, saying, “This season, the cast dynamics have shifted in unexpected ways, offering a new look, feel, and energy that will keep you hooked from start to finish. Season 5 is set to deliver on every front: high-stakes clashes, opulent lifestyles, personal growth, and twists you won’t see coming. Friendships will be forged in the fire, while others will crack under pressure.”

It looks like Real Housewives of Durban season 5 will be full of drama, growth, and surprises!
