Nonhle Thema is the original ‘IT’ girl. When she was at the peak of her career there was no competition for her and it’s safe to say she knows all about having fame. She has been the good girl but also experienced the ugly side of fame. Nonhle Thema says she’s not interested in being famous anymore.
“Sometimes you don’t even know who you are anymore because you’re chasing other people’s expectations of you”, Nonhle says in Nicky Greenwall’s ‘I’m Famous in South Africa’ book.
The actress shared a photo of her feature in the book saying fame is no longer something she’s interested in. “Pretty cool to be in the book ..even though I’ve grown up and I’m no longer that interested in being famous. I still feel blessed to be included in the book #ImFamousInSA Thank You @nickygreenwall this is one I shall tell my grand kids about Blessed,” she wrote.
