Earlier this month we shared that Nonhle Ndala made it onto the cover of Mamas & Papas magazine for the month of October.
In the feature Nonhle was interviewed about her business, relationship with Andile and of course her experience as a mother.
We took a minute to read Nonhle’s feature and here are a few things that we thought were quite interesting.
Nonhle first became a mother at the age of 17 and she shared how the love she received from her daughter made her feel accepted.
“Aurelie was my first definition of what love is… It didn’t matter what I looked like, what I had done or who I was, my baby adored me. She gave me all the love and acceptance I had been searching for my whole life, just like that…”
Nonhle adds that her and her daughter are currently very close and talk a lot about everything. “She shares a lot with me, and we are very close. I am so proud of her!”
The personal trainer then let us in on her booming business and how it’s even received an international status. She then adds that her and her partner are looking into moving from events management to working on empowering young people.
The last part that we were really interested in was her relationship with football player, Andile Jali. She opened up about meeting her man’s family and the traditional Xhosa ceremony they held to welcome her into their family.
“When I arrived, she [Andile’s mother] came to me immediately, touched my belly and told me how happy they were that this baby was coming.”
We honestly really happy for Nonhle and Andile on the arrival of their little baby girl. We hope to see a really big wedding soon!
