The stage is set for an impactful evening in Accra, Ghana, on Friday, November 29, as award-winning radio and TV personality Nomalanga “The Flame” Shozi prepares to host the highly anticipated Socials With A Purpose (S.W.A.P) event. This year’s event will feature the thought-provoking “Afromantality Night,” dedicated to reinterpreting masculinity and inspiring progressive change across Africa.

Shozi, who returns for the second year as host following the success of last year’s S.W.A.P in Johannesburg, will lead discussions aimed at challenging stereotypes and reshaping societal norms around masculinity. According to IOL, “‘Afromantality Night’ will encourage African men to embrace self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and community responsibility.”

The event promises to be a powerful gathering, featuring engaging fireside chats with leaders and public figures, all focused on inspiring action and fostering a shift toward more inclusive and positive ideas of what it means to be a man in today’s Africa.  Shozi, who has made a name for herself as an advocate for social change, will guide these discussions, encouraging African men to redefine their roles in building stronger, more resilient communities while embracing more fulfilling lives.
