Nolo Seabi, the talented actress and presenter, recently took center stage as the MC for the inaugural Skin University by L’Oréal event in South Africa. The event, a groundbreaking moment in the country’s beauty industry, brought together a diverse group of creators and public figures for an exclusive educational experience centered around skincare.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Nolo posted, “Man, where do I even begin? I’m actually still so speechless because I don’t think this moment has fully sunk in. What a day! What a magical experience! Got to meet and work with the most incredible people, who worked tirelessly to put this whole event together. So much goes into putting any event of this magnitude together. The nerves, excitement, adrenaline, stress was all worth it in the end. I had an amazing experience being a part of it! Grateful to have had the opportunity to MC the first ever Skin University by L’Oréal event in South Africa. Thank you to each person that helped me in any form and worked with me at any point prior/during this project. My heart is full.”
The event’s theme, “Casual, inspired by High School and University,” encouraged attendees to embrace relaxed yet stylish looks reminiscent of their school days. This dress code created a vibrant and nostalgic atmosphere, with guests channeling their inner students in outfits that were both nostalgic and fashion-forward.
The Skin University event was not only a celebration of skincare education but also a tribute to the timeless appeal of school-inspired fashion. South Africa’s stars like Larona Moagi, Zintle Zee, and Belinda Gwala were among those present, all dressed in unique and beautiful outfits that matched the school uniform theme.
Overall, the L’Oréal Skin University event succeeded in educating and empowering its attendees about skincare, while also celebrating a playful and stylish nod to their school days. Nolo Seabi’s role as MC added a touch of elegance and charm to an already unforgettable day.
