We never thought we’d live to see a day when Shona Ferguson would go on a twitter rant but here we are. The actor turned producer is not happy with how black producers are treated as compared to white ones. “I have no time for unnecessary crap,” Shona Ferguson goes on a twitter rant.
Shona expresses how difficult it is to be a black producer, how the people you create jobs for and hire are the first ones to disrespect you, something they wouldn’t do to a white producer.
“You are disrespected and ill treated for doing good, creating jobs & giving people opportunities to do what they love & earn a living…white producers are never disrespected by black folks. It’s sad that it’s our brothers & sisters who wish you ill because u r doing well…,” he tweeted.
