No Kissing Allowed! Here’s What’s Not Allowed On Set As TV And Film Productions Recommence! Although productions have resumed with shooting, there have been strict rules that have been implemented to ensure the virus does not further reek havoc via spreading it.

The romance factor from on-screen partners and associates will definitely be turned all the way down as one of these rules apart from keeping their distance from one another, there also is no kissing on set allowed.

Actors seem to be okay with the protocol as they simply appreciated being able to return to work. “They have very strict rules on set and it’s weird working with masks and keeping social distance, but it feels good to be back at work. We all have to learn to work safely and to protect each other,” Asavela Mngqithi told City Press.

Major broadcasters have also reacted to the protocol including the M-Net chief executive officer Nkateko Mabaso who said: “While the R80 million fund MultiChoice Group established has ensured that cast and crew continued to receive their salaries throughout the start of the lockdown, we are thrilled that they have been able to return to work this week.”
