Like we’ve said this a thousand times before, to make it in this industry you need to be some sort of triple threat don’t only come with your acting skills or modeling talent.
Actor Nkululeko Tshirumbula received our memo and is not only acting on Muvhango but he’s also a DJ by night. Nkululeko goes by the stage name DJ Nkuli and he recently had an interview with Sowetan to speak about his musical career.
Nkululeko explained that he’s not just bringing his DJing skills to the deck but he’s bringing all his other talents that he has been recognised for over the years.
Speaking to the paper Nkuli said: “There’s a lot of people out there, there’s a lot of DJs and everyone is trying to cut it, but quite honestly I’m bringing Mzansi’s Sexiest man on board, I’m bringing 2014 ‘Hunk of The Year’, I’m bringing Marie Claire – the guy who was on the naked issue, and I’m bringing Nkululeko. So I’m bringing all these things into one. It’s a package.”
Like most people in the music industry Nkuli revealed that the love he has for music and his musical talents are nothing new to him as he comes from a musical family; “Some of us were born and raised in musical families, so DJ’ing is just another form of expressing that side of me,” he told the paper.
