Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, now officially Natasha Vermaak, is soaking up her honeymoon bliss with her husband, Enrico Vermaak. After tying the knot in a fairytale wedding, Natasha shared a few glimpses of their special trip on Instagram.
The beauty queen posted clips of them at the airport, sitting together on their flight, and arriving at their resort. She also gave her followers a sneak peek of the beautiful sunny views of Mauritius, where the couple is spending their honeymoon.
Sharing her excitement, Natasha wrote,
“Our honeymoon. I’ve been to Mauritius twice, and both times did not get to experience the leisure side of it, no one better than spending it with my husband. We’ve planned and booked our entire trip with @worldleisureholidays, to save admin and to get the best out of our stay. Wedding planning kept us so busy that we are so glad we planned it this way! We have arrived at @shangrilamauritius and can’t wait to share our trip with you!”
Before jetting off to paradise, Natasha also gave her followers a look into her magical wedding day. She and Enrico said their vows on 16 March at the beautiful Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands, South Africa.
It was a breathtaking celebration full of love, laughter, and many unforgettable memories. Natasha looked stunning in not just one, but three custom-made white dresses. One of her standout looks was a dreamy ball gown with sheer lace sleeves, sparkling beadwork, and detailed lace that had everyone admiring her.
On Instagram, Natasha reflected on the special day, saying,
“I promise I’m sharing all things wedding soon. I woke up feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. Our wedding day was perfect. From the weather to our guests, to the décor, details, everything! I cried the entire day out of joy as I stood at the aisle and a while in I asked my sister — is my makeup OK? She could not even lie, she was like nope. Best day of our lives,” she wrote.
Natasha and Enrico’s love story has captured many hearts and they have been together for almost 10 years. Their engagement was announced in January 2024 when Enrico proposed during a romantic sunset yacht cruise at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
