Netflix’s hit reality show Young, Famous & African is back for its third season, and it promises even more drama, luxury, and jaw-dropping moments. After winning awards and topping the streaming charts with its first two seasons, it’s no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter, set to drop on Friday, January 17.

The new season’s official trailer has already set the stage for a wild ride. According to Netflix, the eight-episode series will delve deep into the lives of Africa’s elite, showcasing fractured marriages, fragile friendships, and new connections. As the show evolves, viewers can expect even more chaos and excitement, with glamorous parties, explosive arguments, and unforgettable moments.

A Netflix statement teased: “Old friends reconnect, and new faces join the ‘Young, Famous & African’ family, bringing more epic ups and downs than ever before. From make-ups to dramatic breakups, all set in the lap of luxury, the season delivers baddies, babies, and everything in between.”

“Africa’s elite are back to the glitz, gossip, and cutting shade of their opulent inner circle, where luxury meets legacy — and drama rules the day.”

Among the new faces joining the cast are South African content creator Kefilwe Mabote, Nollywood superstar Ini Edo, and entrepreneur Shakib Lutaaya, all of whom are sure to shake things up. Meanwhile, fan favorites like Tanzanian music icon Diamond Platnumz, Nigerian stylist Swanky Jerry, and Ugandan businesswoman Zari “The Boss Lady” Hassan return, alongside her husband, Shakib Lutaaya.

Also back are Ghanaian-American singer Fantana, Namibian model and businessman Luis Munana, South African rapper Nadia Nakai, DJ Naked DJ with his partner Kayleigh Schwark, and actress Khanyi Mbau, adding more star power to the already glittering lineup.

While the cast list looks packed, there’s no word yet on whether sportscaster Andile Ncube will return for the new season.

With tensions high and personalities clashing, the third season of Young, Famous & African is shaping up to be an unmissable rollercoaster of drama and glamour. Fans won’t want to miss it when it drops on January 17!
