Natasha Thahane Makes MacG Apologize For Misinterpreting Her Sliding In His DM’s. A lot of things happen in the DM’s, especially when it comes to celebrities. Most of the time people slide in celeb DM’s for mischievous reasons but there are those messages that are purely innocent. This was the case for sixteen year old Natasha Thahane who slid in MacG’s DM’s with a positive message that was perceived the wrong way.
Yesterday marked the airing of another episode of MacG’s Podcast And Chill celeb edition, which saw actress Natasha Thahane as the guest. The interview was of course very interesting to watch from the beginning after Thahane confronted Mag about the drama he caused some years ago. According to Natasha, she was a big fan of MacG when he was part of the 947.
Natasha told MacG that she is very disappointed in him for turning something small into a huge spectacle. After the actress moved to Cape Town, she remained a fan of MacG on the radio station and when she finally got a birthday shoutout from him, she was super excited. Apparently he went on to follow Thahane on Instagram, which is when she sent him a DM to applaud his work.
“I sent him a DM that says keep on keeping on and you made it something else” she said.
The Blood And Water actress explained that by “keep on keeping on” she was encouraging him and the work he does which is something that she regularly experiences from young boys in her DM’s. She shard how disrespected she felt when MacG added sexual connotations to her message.
“I receive DM’s from young boys all the time saying keep on keeping on, i’m inspired by your work, so for you to see it in another manner I felt so disrespect so I’d like you to apologize in public” she said.
According to Natasha, MacG responded telling her about getting blue ticked on WhatsApp, and not sleeping with his listeners which came as a shock for a sixteen year old Natasha. Mukwevho justified his actions claiming that during his time at YFM, when women slid in the DM’s it was because they wanted to smash so he took it the wrong way. He did end up apologizing to Natasha for being out of line and we think that was quite big of him to do.
