Model, entrepreneur, and Miss South Africa 2023 Natasha Joubert Vermaak has opened up about the emotional morning she discovered she was pregnant. The beauty queen shared her touching story and heartfelt reaction with fans in a new video on Instagram.
In the video, Natasha revealed the exact moment she saw her positive pregnancy test and couldn’t hold back her tears of joy. The post quickly melted hearts across social media, with many congratulating her and her husband on the exciting news.
In her caption, Natasha expressed her overwhelming love and excitement, writing:
“Klein Vermaakie, your parents love you so much already! Did not think I would post the whole thing, but here we are.”
She went on to explain how she had carefully tracked everything leading up to the pregnancy, admitting that she’s always been a planner.
“I know the planning to the T is not for everyone, but I would have subconsciously thought about it every month. So here it is, in all honesty, how I went about it! Tracking to the T!!”
The former Miss South Africa shared that starting a family had been a dream since her wedding.
“I knew after we got married, I wanted to start our family. You never know how long it might take, and anyone who knows me personally knows if I plan for something, your gal goes all in.”
Natasha also sent heartfelt wishes to others on their own fertility journeys, adding:
“To anyone who is going through their conceiving journey, I am sending you all the baby dust and blessings. Let me know if you guys want an in-depth video of the tracking, etc.”
Earlier, Natasha had shared the first glimpse of her pregnancy on Monday, 27 October 2025, through a beautiful video on Instagram. The clip showed her and her husband enjoying a calm day at the beach, where she proudly displayed her growing baby bump and shared their baby’s sonogram.
In the caption, the couple revealed: “The last 5 months… we’ve been keeping the sweetest secret.”
Fans flooded the comment section with warm wishes and love for the expectant couple. Natasha’s honesty and openness about her pregnancy journey have inspired many, showing a new side of the former Miss SA.
