South African singer, actress, model, TV presenter, and podcast host Nandi Madida is ending the year on an incredible high. Her podcast, The Motherhood Network, has officially been recognised as one of Apple Podcasts’ Best of 2025, a huge achievement for a show that only launched a few months ago.
Nandi proudly shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram, expressing her gratitude and joy. She wrote, “What a way to end the year! We are so honoured to share that The Motherhood Network has been named one of the Best of 2025 by Apple Podcasts! This platform was created to celebrate, uplift, and hold space for mothers and women across the continent, and to see it recognised in this way is incredibly humbling. Thank you for listening, sharing, and growing with us. This community is built by all of you. If you’re new to TMN, we’d love for you to let us know your favourite episodes! We’re also in wonderful company on this list, explore the full Best of 2025 collection and discover other inspiring shows on the Apple Podcasts app!”
Her heartfelt message didn’t end there. In another post, she reflected on how far the platform has come since its launch. She shared, “Today, we celebrate something beautiful. The Motherhood Network has been highlighted as one of 2025’s Best Podcasts on Apple Podcasts. We launched The Motherhood Network on Mother’s Day this year… and the love since then has been nothing short of overwhelming. In just a few months, you’ve helped us grow into a movement: a safe space, a sisterhood, a voice for mothers across the country and beyond. From every comment to every shared story, every guest, every download… Thank you. We feel your love. We value your voices. We honor your journeys. This platform exists because mothers deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated. And this is only the beginning. THANK YOU!”
The podcast launched in May 2025 with a clear mission: to create a supportive environment where mothers feel seen and understood. Nandi wanted to build a space that celebrates motherhood while also speaking honestly about its challenges.
Since its debut, The Motherhood Network has grown into a powerful platform known for its open, unfiltered conversations. Mothers from different backgrounds come together to discuss everything from balancing careers and raising children to managing mental health and embracing personal growth. The podcast’s warm, honest storytelling has resonated deeply with listeners, helping it stand out in the competitive podcast world.
Being recognised as one of the Best of 2025 is not just a win for Nandi — it’s a celebration for all mothers who connect through the show. And as Nandi says, this is only the beginning.
