Nandi Madida Speaks On Hanging Out With Major Celebs At Afropunk In New York! The singer and media peersonality recently made history as the first African star to host the Afropunk Music Festival.

Nandi got to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in entertainment. From Chris Rock to Issa Rae and Tiffany Haddish.

Nandi spoke about her experience hosting the festival. The reason why you just haven’t seen the photos of Nandi with the big stars is because the star says she would rather have a conversation than take photos.

“The coolest thing is that at the VIP area backstage we had Tiffany Haddish there. Issa Rae was just talking about coming to South Africa this week. Jesse Williams and Chris Rock were also there. So many big great names were there,” she shared with a local publication. .

“It was all amazing and such an honor for me to be given an opportunity to host on the main stage. The fact that they believe in me and my talent as well as how many relationships I have made from this experience is surreal.”

As a proud African I am honored to have been given the opportunity to make history as the first African to host the biggest stage at @Afropunk. Thank you! You guys were amazing! ✊???? #Day2
