Naledi Aphiwe is shining with pride after achieving a bachelor’s pass in her matric exams. The 18-year-old singer, who attended Khethokuhle Secondary School, proudly shared her exam number on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: “Beauty with brains.”
Alongside her academic success, Naledi took a moment to remember her late mother with a touching tribute. Posting a photo of her mother in a hospital bed, she wrote: “Mama I made it.”
In a previous interview with TshisaLIVE, Naledi explained that, despite her success in music, her education always came first. “I do well at school. Because I do well I can juggle both,” she said. “I’ve always wanted to be a singer, but I want to pass my matric with symbol B and work on music during the school holidays.”
However, she now seems ready to fully embrace her musical dreams, sharing that she might take a gap year to focus on her career in Johannesburg.
