Naima Kay finds love

Afro-jazz sensation Naima Kay has found love in the arms of a biker from KwaZulu-Natal.According to Sunday Sun, the award-winning singer is smitten with Mduduzi “Mdu’ Mwandla from Ntuzuma, north of Durban, this after she reportedly in December showed the ex-boyfriend who abused her the door.

Naima Kay, whose real name is Lungile Khumalo, has been sharing photos of herself and her new beau on social media, but he neither confirmed nor denied his relationship with the songbird from Port Shepstone when approached.

“I can’t speak over the phone about when Naima Kay and I are getting married. And I don’t know you, bye,” he responded.

The singer’s manager, Mdu Ngcobo, also refused to comment on the details of his client’s love life, and lamented the fact that the media doesn’t pay as much attention to the milestones in her career as they do to her boyfriends.

“This is Naima Kay’s personal stuff. I shouldn’t be commenting on it,” said Ngcobo.

“But I do have a concern that when she’s doing good things, the media is nowhere to be found. When she won the Best Female Award at the Metro FM Awards this year, no media person called her for an interview.”

“You’re only phoning now because there’s a story about her love life. That’s not fair,” the manager added.
