The November 2025 issue of Glamour SA shines a spotlight on “Power Women,” featuring two trailblazers: content creator and entrepreneur Nadia Jaftha , and actress and businesswoman Ntando Duma. The theme celebrates women who embrace the art of slowing down and letting time work in their favour.
Ntando Duma shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, “Happy RELEASE DAY! Our @glamour_sa cover is officially on retailers shelves and we beyond thrilled to share this special moment with each other. Seven years of laughter, adventures, making memories together and we finally get to slay the cover of Glamour magazine TOGETHER!!! We are so grateful for our friendship and the role we play in each other’s lives. A special THANK YOU to our brand partner @huaweiza and the team for your loyalty and continued support. Here’s to many more milestones and making memories that’ll last a lifetime.”
Their feature in the magazine highlights not just their individual success, but their strong bond and friendship. Despite living in different cities—Ntando in Johannesburg—their friendship remains close and intentional. Nadia explained, “She lives in Joburg so ours is very much a long-distance friendship. We see each other when we can & check in quite often! What people don’t always realise is that we keep a big part of our friendship offline so they don’t really see how close we are. I was even a bridesmaid at her wedding. I’ve learnt so much from her and she keeps me grounded, that’s what makes our bond feel so solid no matter the distance.”
Even across cities and busy life stages, mutual understanding keeps their connection strong. Ntando shared, “We’ve definitely been in different phases at different times, but I think that’s what makes the friendship strong; we don’t force each other to be in the same place. We just support where the other person is.” They make a conscious effort to stay present in each other’s lives. “Honestly, friendship takes effort. Life gets so busy that sometimes you blink and realize you haven’t seen your people in months. So I’ve learned it’s about being intentional with a quick call, a voice note, or a random selfie,” Ntando said.
The November “Power Women” issue not only celebrates Nadia and Ntando’s achievements, but also highlights the beauty of friendships that thrive on understanding, trust, and genuine support—even when life keeps them apart.
