Mzansi Men Share How They’ve Been Pushed To Depression By Women Over Their Financial Status. Men are expected to be the bread winners in relationship and its an unacceptable sign of weakness for a man to not be financially equipped to meet the need of a women.
Society has since called out women for their double standards of wanting men who are financially stable where as they are far from it. Men have opened up about how their partners made them feel less than or drove them to depression because of their financial status, and it seems to be a common experience for men.
Many men and women commented on the topic sharing different stories of how their relationship changed once they lost their employment or when finances started getting little tight. Some men have opened up about wanting to take their own lives because their significant others constantly dragged them for not being able to afforded the lifestyle that they desire.
