From touching messages to words of gratitude, Mzansi stars shared beautiful tributes that warmed the hearts of many.
One of the most emotional messages came from actress, presenter, and media personality Minnie Dlamini, who poured her heart out in a touching post dedicated to her father.
“Happy Father’s Day to the greatest dad I could’ve ever asked for. God blessed me with a man who showed me how to stand up and show up for my family, to lead with strength, purpose and love,” she wrote. “This man raised us with intention every single day, putting us first no matter what!!!”
She also shared the wise words her father often tells her: “Minnie, be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today.” She continued, “That’s the goal #Sibalukhulu. God blessed me with a father who stands tall by my side and therefore I stand tall in every situation I’m faced with.”
Minnie also thanked her dad for the love he gave to others too: “You not only raised me, but my friends too, and I’m thankful you did, especially for my people who did not have their dads in their lives, that’s what makes you beautiful Timer Lam. I just want to make you proud every day Mjay and I thank God that you are still with us & I still get to. Lastly, thank you for helping me raise my boy, just a tiny sprinkle of the magic you gave me… I know my son will be great.”
