Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, has given her followers a closer look at her fairytale wedding, which took place on March 16 at the breathtaking Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands, South Africa.
Taking to Instagram, Natasha shared heartfelt details about her big day, expressing how overwhelmed she felt with emotions.
“My dream wedding. The emotions were flooding on the day of my wedding. I woke up at around 7:00 the morning of my wedding, drizzling and no mountains around us in sight. Earlier that week, my wedding planners @alon.events managed expectations and that we just needed to discuss plan B. I have no words on how perfect every single aspect of my wedding was.”
Despite the unpredictable weather, everything turned out just as she had imagined. She admitted that she had been nervous her wedding wouldn’t live up to the fairy tale she had always dreamed of, but in the end, it exceeded all her expectations.
“I was scared that my wedding day would not live up to my expectations and that dream I’ve always envisioned—simply of all the stories we see online. I will forever be in awe.”
She revealed that the emotions were so overwhelming that her makeup artist, @byrachelannretief, had to redo her makeup multiple times throughout the day.
“Lol @byrachelannretief had to probably re-do my make-up three times on my wedding day as the tears did not want to stop. The best day of my & Enrico’s lives. We celebrated our love, the strongest love anyone can ask for.”
Natasha also expressed gratitude to her wedding planners, venue, and vendors for making her day unforgettable.
“I have no words to thank the best wedding planners (@alon.events), the best venue ever (@cavalliestate), and every single vendor that made this the day I will forever remember as the best day in my life. Tears of happiness, joy, and the utmost gratefulness.”
Her wedding was a true celebration of love, and from her words, it’s clear that it was a day she will cherish forever.
