Must See Photos From The SA Premiere Of The Women King. ‘The Woman King’ movie has already broken box office numbers and with a couple of South African stars in it, we can’t wait to see how it perfoorms at the South African box office. The movie finally premiered in Mzansi Thursday night and some of our local celebs came out to support one of their own, Thuso Mbedu, who is one of the leading cast members in the movie.

Thuso was joined by two of her co-stars, British actor John Boyega and our very own Siv Ngesi. The trio shined on the red carpet but for us, it’s Thuso and Boyega’s chemistry that has asking if there’s more to their friendship. The duo landed in South Africa earlier this week and are currently on a promo tour for the movie.

Boyega shared his excitement over the premier and being in Mzansi on social media writing, “@womankingmovie premiere in South Africa was something special. Surrounded by pure love and genuine support. Kickstarting this collage of love with my mother ❤.”

Local celebs including Natasha Thahane, Minnie Dlamini, Makgotso M, Boity, Masai Baduza, Ceecee Ndaba, Stephanie and Hungani Ndlovu all showed up and showed out in their African inspired looks. Check out some of the looks below.
