In a recent YouTube video, Mrs Mops, known for her role on The Mommy Club, addressed some long-standing rumours about her marriage to Isaac Mophatlane, also known as Mr Mops. The couple, who share three children, have faced speculation about their relationship over the years.
When asked about the most persistent rumour, Mrs Mops was quick to respond, clearing the air. “There’s always rumours that I am leaving my husband… it’s not true. I’m here and I’m here for life. I’m in love with my baby daddy,” she said, shutting down the gossip.
During the candid Q&A, Mrs Mops also shared valuable lessons she’s learned about marriage. She emphasised the importance of patience and communication as couples grow and change over time. “When you get married and you are one thing, and sometimes you grow apart and then you come back together again because people are different and people change,” she explained. “If you stay the same person that you were ten years ago, you would not be growing, so just be patient with each other, constantly communicate with each other.”
She also offered insight into unconditional love in relationships: “Money goes, beauty fades, the kids grow and leave the house, and then you are just left with you and your partner… Just be patient, learn and be happy.”
On the subject of parenting, Mrs Mops revealed she is the stricter parent. “Believe it or not, I am the strict parent,” she said. “My husband is so sweet and such a teddy bear that literally when I say no, the kids go straight to him to get whatever they want and he will say yes. So I am the stricter parent.”
In her advice to young women entering marriage, she encouraged them to stay true to themselves and never lose sight of their personal dreams. “Remain true to yourself, be authentic to who you are and don’t lose yourself. Keep on elevating yourself,” she said.
Reflecting on her relationship with Isaac, Mrs Mops shared how she knew he was the one for her. “I just had that feeling,” she said. “My husband is very loving, he’s gentle, and he’s generous. I just knew that my husband was the one and because I was also ready… I just knew it. This is going to be the father of my kids, and I know it from my gut, my soul.”
