Moshe Ndiki, the multifaceted actor, TV presenter, and influencer, has added another feather to his cap by launching his own medical clinic in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg, this reported by ZiMoja. This latest endeavour follows his successful ventures in the food industry with Moshe’s Kitchen and his spice range, all while balancing his bustling entertainment career.
Moshe’s new clinic, Ethembeni Primary Health Care, is a heartfelt tribute to his late aunt, who ran a school for individuals with disabilities in Vosloorus. Moshe, originally from the Eastern Cape, considers Vosloorus his second home due to his frequent visits there.
“This is a passion project for me. It’s not about making money,” Moshe explained. “My aunt’s work in Vosloorus inspired me, and I wanted to give back to the community in a meaningful way.”
Ethembeni Primary Health Care, which opened its doors on June 1, 2024, employs five qualified medical professionals dedicated to providing affordable healthcare. Moshe emphasises that his role is purely administrative. “This is not some Doctor Matthew stunt,” he joked. “We have trained medical practitioners on site who know exactly what they’re doing.”
Affordability and accessibility are the cornerstones of Moshe’s clinic. ” It’s not everyone that has a medical aid or who can afford private medical assistance,” he noted. ” I wanted this to be affordable and to the everyday person and for them to receive good health care without breaking the bank.”
The clinic is a joint venture with Vatiswa Ncambaca, a seasoned professional who already operates her own clinic. Moshe invested 50% of the capital needed to get Ethembeni off the ground, demonstrating his commitment to the cause. “I believe if you truly believe in something, you make sacrifices to see it through,” he said, reflecting on the year-long planning and effort that went into the project.
Despite the financial challenges, Moshe remains focused on the clinic’s mission to serve the community. He is actively seeking partnerships with medical companies to further support the clinic’s operations. “We’re not in it for the money. We’re here to help people. Any assistance from investors is welcome,” he concluded.
With his new clinic, Moshe Ndiki continues to prove that his talents and passions extend far beyond the entertainment industry, making a lasting impact on the community of Vosloorus.
