In the past four years many faces have come and gone from Club 808 but one face stayed familiar and loyal to the show and the fans of the show.

Mo Flava has been with Club 808 and has done a great job at hosting the musical show but his time has come and he has decided to leave for new faces to entertain us, fear not there is no bad blood between Mo and the producers of the show.

e.tv released a statement on behalf of Mo Flava recently announcing the sad but yet exciting news. “There is nothing wrong with moving on, if everyone is amicable then there is nothing wrong in moving on. There is nothing controversial about my departure, it is just time to move on,” Mo Flava said.

Mo also added that it was a great four years on the show and that he has learned quite a bit from his experience on Club 808. “e.tv and Red Pepper Productions are brilliant teams to work with and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity they have given me. I hope to work with e.tv again in the future, they really support local content and talent. Thank you to all the viewers for the support over the years and a huge thanks must be given to the music industry for working with us to bring viewers the latest and greatest music and entertainment every Friday night on e.tv,” Mo said.

A new presenter will be announced to join the 808 team soon enough. Mo Flava’s last show will air o the 27th of February.

Thank you for a great four years Mo and Good Luck with your future endeavors!
